Data collector Governmental agency, institution of higher education or any type of business that for any purpose, whether by automated collection or otherwise, handles, collects, disseminates or otherwise deals with nonpublic personal information.	Operator Owns or operates an internet website for online services or commercial purposes. Collects and maintains covered information from consumers who reside in Nevada. Purposefully directs its activities toward this State, consummates some transaction with this State or a resident thereof or purposefully conducts activities in this State [ADDED BY SB-220] or otherwise engages in any activity that constitutes sufficient nexus with this State to satisfy the requirements of the United States Constitution.
Personal information: A natural persons first name / initial + last name combined with: SSN Drivers licence nr / ID nr Payment info in combination with access code, which would give access to account Medical ID, health insurance nr User name, UID, email + password / security code to give access to an online account	Covered information: Personally identifiable information about a consumer collected by operator through internet website or online service. Examples (non exhaustive): First & last name Address Email SSN Identifier allowing consumer to be contacted Any other information concerning a person collected from the person through the Internet website or online service of the operator and maintained by the operator in combination with an identifier in a form that makes the information personally identifiable.
Data breach: Unauthorized acquisition of computerized data that compromises the security, confidentiality or integrity of personal information maintained by the data collector.	Consumer: Person who seeks or acquires any goods, service or money for personal, family or household purposes from the internet website or online service of operator. (Clearly excluded: B2B transactions!)
	Sale: Exchange of covered information for monetary consideration by the operator to a person for the person to license or sell the covered information to additional persons. Excluded from sale: Disclosure to a service provider Disclosure to third party worked with to provide the service to the consumer Disclosure to a third party if the purposes for disclosure are consistent with the expectations of the consumer Disclosure to an affiliate (NRS 686A.620) Transfer to a third party as part of a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy
